雅思口语考试is it necessary to get news?

Do you like reading newspapers?

Do you think newspapers will be replaced by computers someday?

What do you think a highly qualified journalist would be like?

Do you love reading magazines?

What kind of magazines do you love to read?

What are the differences between newspapers and magazines?

1. Do you like reading newspapers?

To be honest, I am not fascinated by newspapers. I prefer to read online

news, which is updated

instantaneously.

Do you think newspapers will be replaced by computers someday?

Well, I don't think this revolutionary change will happen anytime

soon.认为不会被取代,解释原因——Newspapers have their irreplaceable strong points.

They are portable and you can read them anywhere anytime you

go. News in newspapers might be more reliable. And for some

elderly people, who are kind of technophobes. They just can't use anything

high-tech.

Do you love reading magazines?

Yeap, I get a kick out of magazines. Reading magazines helps me loosen up and

relieve my stress. It always feels great to sit along French doors at Starbucks,

listening to jazz, drinking a cup of mocha while reading Vogue or travel

magazines. The feeling is incredible.

What kind of magazines do you love to read?

I love fashion magazines. I subscribe to fashion magazines like VOGUE,

COSMOPOLITAN and ELLE every year. I think they are just like a Bible to girls

who love fashion, which reminds me I first moved to New Yoke and insttead of

dinner. I just felt it fed of the words Carrie said in Sex and the City, “When I

was totally broke. Sometimes, I would buy Vogue me more.” And you know what, I

totally buy it.

What are the differences between newspapers and magazines?

The most significant visual difference between magazines and newspapers is

the cover. A magazine usually has a cover that

includes the name of the publication, graphics, and perhaps headlines or teasers

about what it is inside that issue. A newspaper typically has the nameplate, one

or more articles right on the front and no separate cover. Magazines are usually

printed out on glossy paper while newspapers are normally black and

例如雅思口语news,IN OTHER WORD, I BELIEVE THAT...(不要用THAT IS ALL)。

雅思口语part2 1、Describe a piece of interesting news

雅思口语describe sb you want to meet in news

Describe sb you want to meet in news

You should say:

who this person is

how you first learned about him or her

how/why this person is famous

and explain what you would say to this person.

If you want to talk about playground legends, the conversation begins right there. Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell is the legend. You can hear all the stories in the world, but you'll never believe it until you see it. He's done inhuman stuff, unreal stuff.

Hook was by far the best player to come out of Oakland. Demetrius Hook Mitchell is the Bay's most notorious legend. Every cat with at least minimal knowledge of playground ball has a Hook Mitchell story. The tales of his leaping ability are common place. Jumping over cars, bikes and people wasn't no thing to Hook. Before his descent into narcotics hell, Hook was nothing but heavenly. If he'd just kept his head straight, he'd be in the league right now, dominating.

Unfortunately, Hook lives in a prison cell now and in other folks' memories.

Several NBA stars who also grew up in Oakland, including Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Antonio Davis, Drew Gooden, and Brian Shaw, all of whom played with Mitchell on the streets, and were astonished by his skills, but were unable to help him avoid his sorry fate. They describe his unstable home life and the longing for community that drove him to the streets. Mitchell himself is shown playing prison league games, and is surprisingly still able to play above the rim.

His story, like others, was written on courts between the West and East Bay.
